Motivating the idea for open-commentary.com
This generation needs more than just biblical facts, but how verses
come alive in people's lives, to encourage everyone to live their faith.
Imagine if 1 million Christians were to share about how different
verses affect or are lived out or are validated in real life, or when
we record down our thoughts or inspirations whenever we do personal
study, listen to a sermon, or just reflect on life in general.
Just as the success of Amazon and multitude of online communities have
illustrated, the power of shared testimonies are from the heart, and no
spammer will be able to dilute the community: it takes far more
effort to spam than to delete it. Anyone in the community can
remove it or vote it down.
