Glorious Resurrection Day, rather than Happy Easter, to claim what we truly believe.
1 Corithian: if resurrection did not happen, we of all men are to be most pitied.
Edward's accident: there is no way he could have avoided the accident. Somethings are out of our controol.
Life is so full of unexpected and uncontrolable events, we need to decide now rather than later, the single most important decision: did Jesus Christ resurrect from the dead?!
There is an appointed time for us to have a decision.
The disciples: after he resurrected, his disciples believed the scriptures. So much hangs upon the resurrection.
Jesus himself: destroy this temple and I will raise it up in 3 days.
This was re-iterated in his trial, and during the cross, they hurl insult at him for this saying.
Paul's response when others become the center of religion: Was Paul/Apollos/Moses/Budha/... crucified and resurrected?
